George W. Banks
Co-Founder
George Banks Mr. Banks, co-founder and principal of Priderock Capital Partners, built his first development in 1973, and has developed, constructed, and financed over 12,000 multi-family units including, 2,000,000 sq. ft. of commercial, single family and multi-family projects in California, Florida, New York and the Washington D.C. metro area. Mr. Banks has extensive experience in structuring complex real estate financing including the formation of joint ventures, private equity structures and partnership financing. Since 2000, Mr. Banks has been a sponsor/partner in multi-family real estate ventures representing an aggregate total capitalization in excess of $2.5 billion. Prior to forming Priderock, Mr. Banks was a principal and co-owner of The Bainbridge Companies. Mr. Banks is currently sponsor/principal of 27 joint ventures with project partners like; ING, Lehman, GE Pension Trust, RREEF, Deutsche Bank, AEW, Fidelity Investments, State of Michigan Retirement System. Mr. Banks is a graduate of California State University and graduated from The Harvard Business School Executive Program.
David N. Khoury
Co-Founder
David Khoury Mr. Khoury is a co-founder and principal of Priderock Capital Partners. Prior to co-founding Priderock, Mr. Khoury served as the Chief Investment Officer of The Bainbridge Companies from 2006-2008. During his tenure with Bainbridge, Mr. Khoury analyzed and financed over $1.5 billion of acquisitions in Florida and the Washington DC Metro area. Mr. Khoury had primary responsibility for executing and structuring projects undertaken by Bainbridge and for establishing and maintaining debt and equity investor relationships. Prior to joining Bainbridge, Mr. Khoury was a Vice President for Macquarie Capital Partners, LLC, a boutique Chicago investment bank specializing in structuring U.S. and European real estate joint ventures and multi-investor funds, and raising domestic and foreign institutional capital for those structured vehicles. Prior to moving to Chicago, Mr. Khoury was an associate in the real estate investment banking group of Merrill Lynch & Co. (top ranking all years). Prior to his tenure with Merrill Lynch & Co., Mr. Khoury was a partner of Wellington Capital Partners, a joint venture with an institutional capital partner that was formed to acquire and dispose of a portfolio of Class A multi-family properties across the Southeast and Southwest. Prior to Wellington Capital partners Mr. Khoury was an analyst in the High Yield Investment Banking Group at Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Khoury earned his MBA from the Harvard Business School and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with honors, from Boston College.
Christopher A. Todd
Head of Real Estate Development
Mr. Todd manages all development operations for new construction projects from due diligence through land development, design, permitting, construction and project delivery. Mr. Todd brings more than 25 years of industry experience to this role and manages the day to day design and development of all new development investment activity for the United States. Mr. Todd practiced architecture from 1984 to 1994, designing over $250 million of primarily multi-family residential assets. Since 1994 his development career includes development of more than 20,000 multifamily units as well as retail, office and mixed-use projects with a total value of more than $750 million. Most recently, Mr. Todd served as Director of Design and Construction for Waterford Development. Prior to that, he held senior positions with The JBG Companies, Lincoln Property Company and JPI. Mr. Todd has a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia. He is a Fairfax City, VA Economic Development Authority Commissioner and a member of the City’s Environmental Sustainability Committee.
Daniel C. Ng
Vice President of Finance and Acquisitions
Mr. Ng is a Vice President at Priderock Capital Partners. His responsibilities include sourcing, underwriting and financing potential acquisition opportunities. Prior to joining Priderock Capital Partners, Mr. Ng worked as an Associate at The Bainbridge Companies where he assisted in the acquisition and financing of over $1 billion of real estate. Prior to joining The Bainbridge Companies, Mr. Ng held an Associate position at Crocker Partners LLC, a real estate private equity firm, and at CRT Properties (NYSE:CRO), a publicly traded real estate investment trust. During his tenure at Crocker Partners LLC and CRT Properties, Mr. Ng analyzed acquisition and development opportunities of commercial properties across southeast Florida, Orlando, Tampa, and Houston, Dallas, Virginia and Maryland, and evaluated joint venture, financing and refinancing structures. Mr. Ng graduated cum laude from New York University’s Stern School of Business with degrees in Finance and Accounting.
Barbara J. Gaziano
VP of Asset Management/Accounting
Barbara Gaziano has overall responsibility for all accounting functions for Priderock Capital Partners. Ms. Gaziano has over 15 years of experience in senior level finance and accounting positions. Her history is rich in financial programs, trouble shooting, and the preparation of financial reports, special analysis, and information reporting while ensuring the compliance with local, state and federal budgetary reporting requirements. She is proficient in the development and implementation of finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures along with establishing and maintaining the appropriate internal control safeguards. Her previous positions included Controller at Bainbridge Communities Management, Inc where she managed the accounting functions for construction, development, residential apartment and commercial divisions along with the corporate development, construction, broker, and property management companies. Prior to that she was the Controller of Southstar Management, Inc. where she was responsible for overseeing the accounting, financing, and tax and audit preparation of over 100 companies with strong influence on the onsite operations. Prior to that, Ms. Gaziano was with Gables Residential where she acquired her strong base in real estate accounting. Ms. Gaziano's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University.
Kathy Scaman
Corporate Controller
Ms. Scaman is the Corporate Controller at Priderock Capital Partners. She oversees our internal accounting software development in addition to payroll, corporate, development, and property accounting. Ms. Scaman also directs our Human Resource Department. She has over 25 years of experience in real estate construction, development, and property management. Prior to working at Priderock, Ms. Scaman was the Controller at Commerce Group, Inc. where she oversaw all accounting functions. Ms. Scaman has her BBA in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and completed her Paralegal Degree from Southwestern Paralegal Institute.
Lauren Geldmaker
Accounting Manager
Ms. Geldmaker is the Accounting Manager at Priderock Capital Partners. She focuses exclusively on property accounting and monthly financial statements for our business owners and partners. She brings a wealth of industry experience to this role and manages the day to day payables and collections. She also provides support to our onsite teams with regard to corporate procedure and supports our internal accounting software. Prior to her position at Priderock, Ms. Geldmaker was a Property Accountant with Gables Residential. Before joining Gables, she was an Accounts Receivable Manager at Access Worldwide. Ms. Geldmaker has a B.A. from the University of Denver and holds a CMA designation.
Julia A. Schumann
Development Accountant
Ms. Schumann is the Development Accountant at Priderock Capital Partners. Julia is responsible for the preparation of monthly draws, including summarizing developer costs and reviewing contractor draw requests and providing additional detailed financial information as required. She maintains ongoing budget-to-actual information on development projects, including all budget modifications, reconciling with the general ledger. Prior to Priderock, Ms. Schumann was the Senior Development Accountant at Bainbridge Communities Management, overseeing and processing all accounting aspects of the development process. She was also responsible for construction accounting for in-progress apartment projects. Prior to Bainbridge, Ms. Schumann worked at Cypressbrook Management Company of Florida as the Controller. Ms. Schumann also held the title of Controller for Addison Construction in Palm Beach which specialized in high end homes mainly in Palm Beach and Boca Raton. Ms. Schumann holds a BS degree in Elementary Education from Towson State University in addition to a second degree in business with a minor in accounting from the College of Notre Dame of Baltimore.
Sharon F. Beiner
Office Manager
Ms. Beiner manages all aspects of Priderock’s office operations. Prior to joining Priderock, Ms. Beiner worked at the Bainbridge Companies supporting George W. Banks in acquisitions and asset management. Prior to Bainbridge, Ms. Beiner worked for more than 10 years at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter’s corporate headquarters where she was a Department Manager in all aspects for more than 350 employees in a 24/7 Creative Services Department where she was responsible for all investment banking presentations domestically as well as world wide. Prior to her tenure at Morgan Stanley, she supervised a staff of 35+ in a large Emergency Department at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Long Island, New York. She was responsible for 24/7 staffing as well as purchasing medical supplies and equipment, managing the annual budget and maintaining the department to meet all State Law requirements. Ms. Beiner has a Bachelor of Arts in English and Pre-law from Queens College a City University of NY.
